Our best experience was in Frankfurt airport where the Car rental company messed up and gave our intended car away. With 4 bags and 4 passengers they were offering me a car which was way above my budget. A BMW X5M . Because the mess up happened at their end, Lush Escape refunded my completely for the increased charge I spent on the car rental. This was a complete surprise.
Bottom line is, over a 10 day trip, mess ups are going to happen. It is inevitable. Having a company know that, address that and ensure you still have the best experience is unbeatable.”

Thank you firstly for an amazing experience again. The kids and us really had the best time. With the exception of 1 guide in Lisbon, everyone else was great. I’ll start with the good stuff first 1st leg of the trip for Sangi and me which was Leysin, Gstaad,Salzburg, Dolomites & Como – Absolutely amazing. zero complaints… great staff and epic experience. The CAR was fantastic :) 2nd leg of the trip… with kids Porto Hotel – i can see why it was chosen, however the rooms were dingy, dark and not well serviced. the staff and the food were great and the location of the place was amazing I wished I had more time in Porto to be honest because between the bike tour and the Duoro valley trip(both amazing really), we didn’t get time to explore porto on our own. One more day there would be epic. We didn’t get time to go wine tasting in Gaia and I would’ve loved to do that in the port wine houses. Coimbra on the way out was great too. The guide was super passionate. Small town great town. Great service there Lisbon – Favorite city Loved loved loved the apartment and the service, staff etc. the fresh bread and breakfast provisions were on point Location of the apartment was really perfect. Again would’ve loved 1-2 more days in Lisbon We enjoyed doing the tour of Caiscais and the neighboring place(can’t remember the name) Setubal Lovely location for the hotel and good food too. Room was EPIC. Setubal was a great spot to be. The beaches we explored were great. The tour guides were great. Miguel and his wife Paula I think who took us on the bike ride were amazing. Even the guy who took us on the Hike was great but not prepared. The lunch booking was a big let down. The dolphin cruise was amazing. Both the guide and the captain were just amazing apart from showing us the dolphins as well which happened in the first five minutes of getting on the boat. They also took us to see some Remote caves. Honestly, the kids really really really loved it. Algarve Kids loved the hotel because they got to eat the food they wanted… I hated it. The Upgraded room was a disaster. Old and run down. To be honest I didn’t realize we were moving to such a large resort…. Like I said… kids loved it. Sangi and I were not prepared for it. I can see how it is a good addition to the trip to break the monotony of boutique hotels. I just didn’t know it was going to be like this. Kids loved the diversity of the food. Tbh so did we The catamaran cruise with Pedro and Team was really really really epic. It was private and special and the kids got to enjoy their body boarding and we explored some caves as well. Really special experience. Seville Nice location of the hotel, chosen, great food but overall Seville was a letdown. Most of the places were closed on the account of summer and it had a little bit of a Ghost Town look. Hot air balloon ride Sangeeta and me love this experience. The kids fell asleep in the balloon. But it was a really nice way to see the lay of the land. The choice of hotel and breakfast was very localized and probably not the best. The boat tour as well may have been unnecessary, but probably the only way to pass any time in this town which like I said was mostly closed The walking tour in Seville was great. Marbella This hotel was great. Food was awesome too decent Gym. No complaints over here at all. Malaga on its own was great for a day tour, but that guide Paco was what made the whole day trip unbelievable. I think he was the top tour guide experience we had on this trip with you guys. Cordoba. This hotel and its food were great. But similar to Seville this was also a ghost town. The pool was tiny so we couldn’t even chill in the hotel because there were way too many people for that tiny pool. Now let me give you my unfiltered thoughts. We had a great trip with this few small hiccups along the way, which is generally inevitable over 45 days. We got to see so many new places and experience so many new things. Thank you for doing such a great job with our holiday bookings.”
